- The IWC Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 is the second split-seconds chronograph wristwatch to be produced in 1996 until 2005. The first being ref. 3711 which debuted in 1992 was powered by the caliber 79230, its foundation is the valjoux base 7750 movement designed by Richard Habring who is now known for his own brand Habring2.
- Habring built the first double chronograph movement that uses a cam system for both chronograph and rattrapante, highly reliable and shock resistant the reference was sized at 42mm diameter and was available in stainless steel yellow gold and platinum.
