Marylyn Dintenfass is a contemporary artist who lives and works in New York City. Her career as a painter, printmaker and ceramicist has been widely and internationally exhibited over the last thirty years, throughout the United States and in Israel, Italy and Japan.  She has had seven one-person museum exhibitions, including an exhibition of her recent paintings at the Mississippi Museum of Art and the Greenville County Museum of Art.  Her work has long been rooted in Minimalism's modular grid, yet supersedes it through her inspired abstract imagery- expressed through innovative unions of conventional and unconventional materials and techniques, employed to achieve a highly distinctive and original artistic vision.  Her work is found in numerous private collections and over twenty-four public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Detroit Institue of Art.
