    - Unveiled in 2015, the MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual stands as a horological and technical marvel set to overcome the fragility associated with conventional perpetual calendar mechanisms. Conceived by Stephen McDonnell, an independent Irish watchmaker, and featuring an open-worked design by Eric Giroud, this timepiece represents an avant-garde masterpiece, both inside and out.

    - Recipient of the Best Calendar Watch at GPHG 2016, the three-dimensional architecture of this model showcases an innovative in-house mechanism comprising of 581 components. The mechanical processor operates on a default 28-day month, deviating from the traditional 31-day model.

    - The intricate movement, not only impressively complex but also meticulously hand-finished, reveals an array of gears, clicks, pinions, and bridges on the dial side, featuring a suspended 14mm flying balance wheel. The overall layout of the dial remains quite classical, at 12 o'clock an off centered "main" dial is visible for the minutes and the hours. Three additional sub-dials displaying the day, month and date are located at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock respectively. Two additional gauges are present towards the lower portion of the dial, one for the leap year at 7 o'clock and one for the power reserve at 5 o'clock.

    - Turning the watch around one can notice the exquisite new and fully in-house movement. Hand-finished, the movement showcases precisely aligned Geneva waves and polished angles on both the interior and exterior. Overall very different from the movement used for the Legacy Machine 1 and 2, the movement reveals a double barrel that is able to provide a 72 hours power reserve.

    - The current Legacy Machine Perpetual Calendar is the sixth in a limited edition of only 25 pieces in pink gold, rendering it an incredibly rare and collectible gem from the brand.

-With its visually arresting design and impeccable overall condition, this example comes complete with its full set of accessories, making it a true spectacle to behold.
