Nana Tedja’s (b. 1971, Indonesia) No Vaccine No Party illustrates the artist’s optimistic post-pandemic outlook. Nearly two years after the virus emerged, COVID-19 has fundamentally changed our lives. Lockdowns and restrictions have been imposed on society, economies have been severely affected and countless lives have been lost. However the situation has now stablised due to high rates of vaccination, and the artist looks forward to a return to normality. This vivid work envisions a world where people can resume daily activities and return to work, or even party again when the community is fully vaccinated.
