Fancy Brownish Greenish Yellow 'Chameleon' Diamond, Ruby and Diamond Pendent Necklace
Suspending a pear-shaped fancy brownish greenish yellow diamond weighing 2.01 carats and an oval ruby weighing 0.71 carat, spaced by a collet-set brilliant-cut diamond, to a fine link chain, mounted in yellow and white gold, pendant length approximately 25 mm, link chain length approximately 405 mm.
Accompanied by GIA report no. 2225529139, stating that the diamond is Fancy Brownish Greenish Yellow, Natural Colour, SI2 Clarity, Excellent Polish. The colour of this stone changes temporarily when gently heated, or when left in darkness for a period of time and is known in the trade as "Chameleon". Also accompanied by SSEF report no. 133185, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, and that the colour of the ruby may also be called 'pigeon blood red' based on SSEF reference standards.
