The present clock “Golden Pheasants” is a lovely floral and bird representation with vibrant polychrome cloisonné enamel scenes set within a warm orange hue background. The clock is decorated with wisteria in shades of dark and light purple with a green leave vine. Two panels represent a pheasant in rich tones of yellow, red, blue, green and brown, their tail feathers extending in to the next panel. The pheasant is a native bird of China and represents both the yang energy and is a symbol for nobility associated with high-ranking officers. The Golden pheasant is known for its shocking red body and yellow head with attributes of fire, life and summer. The center scene represents a white and grey dove, a symbol for life hope and peace. The enamel work is further signed by the master enameler.
Fresh to the market, the “Golden Pheasants” from 2009 is in exceptional condition and is a lovely example of these very unique clocks.

Other famous models include perpetual calendars such as the ref. 1526, ref. 3448 and 3450, chronographs such as the reference 130, 530 and 1463, as well as reference 1436 and 1563 split seconds chronographs. Patek is also well-known for their classically styled, time-only "Calatrava" dress watches, and the "Nautilus," an iconic luxury sports watch first introduced in 1976 as the reference 3700 that is still in production today.
