Sabhan Adam exhibiting career began in 1994, since then he has held near back to back exhibitions around the world primarily in the Middle East and Europe including his first major exhibition at the Goethe Institute in Damascus. The typically figurative subject matter of Adam's paintings emerge from opaque holes of culture and confront their audience questions of existence ad extracts them from any sense of complacency forcing them to address their own humanity. Sabhan Adam is unlike any artist currently emerging out of the Arab World, his work is not localised but confronts a polemic of a more global and human relevance.
