An astute chronicler of childhood experience, Sandra Lee pays tribute to the naïve and inquisitive perspective of children in her artworks. Her works often draw inspiration from the fairy tales and nursery rhymes of her youth—such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears—but are also underscored with social commentary. These whimsical yet vivid scenes capture our imagination, taking the viewer back to a time of make-believe and play.

After graduating from LASALLE College of the Arts in 1998, Lee has become a celebrated figure in the Singapore art scene. She has exhibited at Singapore Art Museum and National Gallery Singapore.
