  • Catalogue Essay

Commissioned to promote Beck’s Futures 2 art prize and filmed in her father’s native Cyprus, the film depicts Emin running across the landscape in a traditional wedding dress pinned with money according to Turkish custom. The film has distinct Country and Western influences, most notably in its use of the theme of ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’ theme scored by Ennio Morricone and questions the reasons women marry.
