Riding on the success of Phillips Watches’ unprecedented 18-month streak of 100% sold sales and the market leading online participation, the Hong Kong: Watches Online Auction I is the house’s new online auction in response to strong demand in finest timepieces. Featuring 113 rare and important watches, the sale begins on 21 July 8pm HKT and will begin closing on 27 July 6pm HKT. Leading the sale is an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar in black ceramic with weekly indication and a beautiful moon phase display. With 50 years of existence of the Royal Oak, Audemars Piguet has been keeping luxury sports watch aficionados on their toes. In 2017, the brand shook the world of Haute Horlogerie once again by introducing its state-of-the-art Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar in black ceramic. As the genesis of its line in full ceramic livery, this watch is one of the most sought-after models, and coveted by international superstars such as Jay Z, Kevin Hart and Ed Sheeran.

 

Other highlights include a limited edition Lange 1 Tourbillon in platinum with an ample aperture showcasing the stunning tourbillon carriage at 6 o’clock. The model was released as a limited edition in precious metals in 2000, with 150 pieces in platinum such as the present example. Patek Philippe’s Aquanaut Travel Time takes the Swiss powerhouse’s most versatile sports watch model line and seamlessly integrates a dual-time complication. Offered in the sale is a reference 5164 Travel Time in stainless steel double signed by Tiffany & Co., enhancing its rarity to a whole new level. With only a handful of examples that have surfaced on the market so far, another highlight featured in the sale is the Rolex GMT-Master II with a lavishly set bezel in baguette-shaped blue sapphires and white diamonds which is an extremely rare specimen that cannot be missed.
