Born in 1960, Stanley Wong Ping-pui (anothermountainman) is a visual communicator from Hong Kong, who started his career in advertising and came to international attention with his Positive Hong Kong “redwhiteblue” series, which he presented at the Venice Biennale in 2005 representing Hong Kong.
Stanley has won more than 600 awards in graphic design, advertising and fine art at home and abroad, including D&AD yellow pencil, Tokyo TDC award, amongst others, and his works have been exhibited in over 150 shows. He was awarded Artist of the Year 2011 (visual arts) from Hong Kong Arts Development Awards.
Since 2000, Stanley has presented numerous talks and workshops in local and overseas institutions, offering continuous contribution to creative education.
