A circular pendant watch, the case decorated with colbat blue guilloché enamel and applied with a miniature portrait of Ludwig II, his name set within a rose-cut diamond frame, the reverse applied with a fleur-de-lis motif set with rose-cut diamonds, opening to reveal a manual winding movement, white enamel dial, black enamel Roman numerals, ornate gold hands and subsidiary seconds, diameter approximately 53mm, Swiss assay mark for gold.
