Catalogue Essay
I saw another version of this watch on the wrist Carson Chan and I was smitten. Sporty and well balanced with an unusual sector dial and without the date window you would normally find with this movement. Another excellent collaboration between Chopard and Wei Koh and his team. - Mark Cho

- Unveiled in 2022, the L.U.C QF Revolution Edition is fitted in a 39mm stainless steel case, sporting distinct triangular soldered lugs and a slim, highly polished bezel. A quiet giant, the black sector dial takes center stage with contrasting hour markers and minute track in Super-LumiNova, that brings the dial to life at night.
- Under the hood lies the cal. 96.09-L, a movement based on Chopard's L.U.C range. The thin, yet powerful micro-rotor movement has been the backbone of the collection since its launch in 1996. Bearing the Qualité Fleurier certification, the present model is fitted with a more advanced caliber that satisfies the demanding standards of a 100% Swiss made timepiece, upheld by the likes of Chopard L.U.C, Parmigiani Fleurier and Bovet.
- A striking piece, the present L.U.C QF Revolution Edition will be a fantastic addition to collectors of vintage inspired wristwatches, realised through exciting collaborations.

Chopard
Swiss | 1860At the age of 24, Louis-Ulysse Chopard started his company L.U.C. Chopard in Sonviller, Switzerland. Since the brand's inception in 1860, Chopard understood the need for thin and accurate pocket watches to be functional for daily wear. The brand gained world recognition in 1912 after Tsar Nicolas II became a client.
Following Louis-Ulysse's death in 1915, his sons Paul-Louis and Paul André took over the business and moved their headquarters to La Chaux-de-Fonds. In 1963, the company was taken over by Karl Scheufele, who remains the brand's owner. Arguably Chopard's most recognizable design, the "Happy" line, was inspired by Scheufele's daughter Caroline. In 1996, his son Karl-Friedrich established Chopard as a manufacturer of its own range of in-house movements under the name L.U.C., creating groundbreaking, exquisitely finished watches that have earned the brand worldwide acclaim.
