Replacing the previous Lemania-based caliber ref. 5970, the ref. 5270 was first launched in a modern 41mm white gold case. The design continued to pay homage to the legendary predecessors, with the inclusion of squared chronograph pushers. However, it was the 2018 release of the ref. 5270P-001, featuring a charming salmon dial, that truly captivated collectors. This variant is also the only one in the reference which featured applied Arabic numerals to match the feuille hands, exclusive details found only on the ref. 1518 and 1st series ref. 2499.
Discontinued in 2022, this popular salmon dial reference has now been replaced by a green dial variant. However, the salmon dial has always been a cherished color in Patek Philippe's most exclusive offerings, holding a special place in the hearts of connoisseurs. In excellent overall condition and fresh-to-the-market, the watch is further accompanied by its full set of accessories, including an additional caseback and setting pin. Produced for only four years, the ref. 5270P-001 is widely regarded as one of the most iconic modern variants of this timeless Patek Philippe lineage, offering a rare opportunity for discerning collectors.
