Catalogue Essay
The Calatrava ref. 5115 was introduced to the market in 2000 and was discontinued after a few years of production. It features a classic manually wound 1970s-inspired cal. 215 PS AIG.3. With a rather clean and simple appeal, the reference offers much more than that. Featuring an off-white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, the bezel is further embossed with an attractive “Clous de Paris” style hobnail pattern.

The present example ref. 5115J-001 has been preserved impeccably in this connoisseur’s collection for the last 25 years, which results in minimal signs of wear. Furthermore, it is also charmed with its Certificate of Origin and fitted presentation box. It is a truly under appreciated Calatrava reference and a great timepiece to go along with a black-tie outfit.
