- Jiro Katayama, the founder of the brand Otsuka Lotec, has cultivated a considerable following among discerning collectors. Despite its distribution being limited exclusively to Japan, Otsuka Lotec has gained global recognition for its steampunk-inspired and intriguing watch designs.
- This regulator-style watch is a sight to behold, featuring an hours disc at 12 o’clock, a minutes disc at 6 o’clock, and a small seconds aperture at the centre. The added date function further enhances its practicality as an everyday timepiece. The movement is a true gem, heavily modified by Kitayama from a Miyota8215 calibre, tailored to this unique orientation.
