The rise to fame of Richard Mille and the huge success the brand has seen would be hard to believe if it had not take place before our very eyes. With its first watches having gone on sale less than 20 years ago, it is incredible to see the long wait lists for its models, and the most complicated references being specially developed with celebrities from Rafael Nadal and Bubba Watson, to Sylvester Stallone and Jackie Chan.

The quest for exceptional quality and perfection is the constant driving force behind Richard Mille, and RM-005 is an epitome of such brand philosophy. Debuted in 2004, RM 005 was the brand's first automatic wristwatch and was offered in a variety of case materials during its production run. One of the most distinctive is the version shown here is its all grey finishing and yellow inner bezel, as well as the colourful accents to the dial, produced especially for the former Ferrari Formula One driver Filipe Massa. The present watch is numbered 89 of a limited edition of 300 pieces, and is offered in excellent condition completed with box and papers.
