Great art affects how we see ourselves and each other and, occassionally, can infiltrate our behvaiors too. Inspired by the artists in our upcoming 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening and Day Sales, cartoonist Sofia Warren imagines Jean-Michel Basquiat, Louise Bourgeois, Keith Haring, Alexander Calder, and Barbara Hepworth as verbs. In other words: what it might mean "To Basquiat" or "To Bourgeois" in our daily lives. The resulting definitions are everyday conjugations...but perhaps not recommended for everyday use.
