  • Catalogue Essay

    - The Alain Silberstein Marine Perpetual was made in a limited edition of 100 pieces at the beginning of the 1990s.

    - The movement was developed by Svend Andersen and was based on his clever Chronometre Perpetual that has a minimalist display on the front showing just the date, with the months and leap year on the back. This model showcases white luminous indexes and; a half-moon, a circle-with-dot and a starfish symbol at six o'clock. The hour and minutes are showcased via a fancy red triangular hour and blue baton respectively. A yellow serpentine hand is used for the seconds hands and red half-moon for the date.

    - Visible through the caseback, a white off-center subsidiary dial is present indicating the months for four years and the leap years in black and red Arabic numerals.

    - Preserved in excellent overall condition, the present Alain Silberstein Marine Perpetual is further accompanied by its original guarantee and COSC certificates.
