  • Catalogue Essay

Established in Florence in 1966, Archizoom Associati was one of the seminal voices of the Radical Design movement. Departing from modernist principles, the founding members—Andrea Branzi, Gilberto Corretti, Paolo Deganello and Massimo Morozzi—shared a passion for avant-garde design, realism, collaboration, and individual autonomy in the development of spaces. Emblematic of these values, the present lot is comprised of four modular elements which come together to form a discrete, playful environment. An example of the present model belongs to the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
