-The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Skeleton Red is a limited edition watch that embodies the Italian style and ingenuity that the brand is known for. With only 180 pieces in existence, this timepiece is a highly sought-after item for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

-At the core of this watch lies the BVL128SK movement, a feat of modern engineering that is only 2.35mm thick, creating a mesmerizing graphic effect on the wrist. The skeletonized dial showcases the movement's intricate details, while the red octagonal chapter ring beneath the crystal highlights the bold lines of the outer case, imbuing it with a playful yet sophisticated look. Framed in a black sandblasted ceramic livery, the watch is durable yet incredibly lightweight.

-The octagonal case, a hallmark of the Octo Finissimo collection, is complemented by a round bezel, resulting in a perfect balance of shapes. This manually-wound watch features a power reserve gauge that discreetly reminds the wearer to wind it up before the mainspring is depleted. This complication pays tribute to traditional mechanical watchmaking, underscoring Bulgari's dedication to innovation while remaining faithful to age-old techniques.

-Offered in “like-new” condition with its original accessories, the present Bulgari Octo Finissimo Skeleton Red is a truly exceptional timepiece that showcases the brand's unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and innovation. Presented for the first time at PHILLIPS, its unique aesthetic and impressive technical features make it a must-have for any serious watch collector.

  • Artist Biography

    Bulgari

    Italian

Originally from Kalarites, Greece, Sotirios Voulgaris emigrated to Rome because of Greece's rising poverty and difficulty separating from the Ottoman Empire. He set foot on Italian soil in 1880 with little money in his pocket and spent the next four years preparing what would go on to become Italy's oldest jewelry company.

In 1884, Bulgari opened its doors to the Italian people with its offering of jewelry and accessories. Bulgari's style takes from traditions in Greek and Roman craftsmanship to elegantly balance volume and subtlety. Later, in the late 1960s, Bulgari bridged classicism and modernity by introducing its seductive, now-iconic Serpenti collection of snake-shaped coil bracelets and watches. It is through its meticulous combination of influences that Bulgari has garnered an international and loyal high-profile clientele, which included Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn. These Hollywood stars have immortalized the house's unique gem-adorned bracelets, necklaces and earrings in rounded forms.
