  • The two works by Ole Wanscher on offer in this sale, all executed by the renowned master cabinetmaker A.J. Iversen are noteworthy examples of Danish design. Each with their individual form, made from sought-after materials and of exceptional craftsmanship, these works all have a timeless elegance. The Brazilian rosewood-veneered wood desk is characterised by clean lines and a sense of lightness, exemplifying Wanscher’s ability to blend to minimalism and functionality. The wood is complemented by delicate brass handles that contribute to the elegance of the work. With a beautifully book matched rosewood tabletop, this piece has an arresting refined appearance. All works come with the paper label bearing the name of the master cabinetmaker and the cabinetmaking skills are evident in the seamless integration of materials, precise joinery, and the overall finesse of the designs.
