- In 1996, Patek Philippe pioneered the annual calendar complication with reference 5035, introducing a mechanism requiring adjustment only once a year at the end of February. Combining the practicality of a simpler calendar with the sophistication of a perpetual calendar, this patented complication quickly became a signature achievement in the maison’s horological innovation.

- Introduced in 2005, the present reference 4936G was Patek Philippe’s first annual calendar wristwatch created specifically for ladies. Its elegant 36.5mm white gold case features a gently stepped bezel, while the black Tahitian mother-of-pearl dial offers a captivating interplay of iridescent tones. Applied white-gold Roman numerals and a date aperture complete the refined design, complemented by a bezel set with 170 brilliant-cut diamonds.
