- Fashion of the 1970s experienced a period of upheaval and change reflecting a shift in both social and cultural trends, moving from the mod fashion of the 1960s to a bohemian-influenced style, alongside the glam of the disco era. One of the most recognizable trends was large, bold accessories, from eyewear to jewellery, focused on craftsmanship with textured and woven handcrafted goldwork.

- The reference 4241 is a superb bracelet watch produced from 1974 through the mid-1980s. Examples of this model have been identified with varying details, from hard stone, to yellow gold and different dial colours. The present version, with its chain-edged design and champagne dial, creates a distinctly nostalgic aesthetic while remaining exceptionally comfortable on the wrist and absolutely gives off a flair of the 1970s.

For collectors, key models include the reference 1518, the world's first serially produced perpetual calendar chronograph, and its successor, the reference 2499. Other famous models include perpetual calendars such as the ref. 1526, ref. 3448 and 3450, chronographs such as the reference 130, 530 and 1463, as well as reference 1436 and 1563 split seconds chronographs. Patek is also well-known for their classically styled, time-only "Calatrava" dress watches, and the "Nautilus," an iconic luxury sports watch first introduced in 1976 as the reference 3700 that is still in production today.
