This photographic triptych captures a fleeting moment at the beach during sunset and suspends it in time. Reflecting on her relationship with the tropics, Zoraya Lua celebrates the act of reconnecting with nature through simple ritualistic practices, such as being fully present whilst watching the sun set.

Lua is a self-taught multidisciplinary creative practitioner concerned with themes such as interconnectedness, resonance and personal and ancestral relationships with the natural world. Based in Los Baños, the Philippines, she has exhibited at Gravity Art Space in Quezon City, a gallery co-owned by renowned Filipino artist Indy Paredes.

This lot is physically located in Philippines.

Prospective buyers should note they are responsible for the costs of transporting the lot from its current location to the buyer. This includes the cost of obtaining any required export and/or import licences or permits and paying any applicable taxes.
