This plate was never printed on Arches paper, only on a thinner poster paper which resisted time poorly; so poorly in fact, that most of the works were mounted on board. It is therefore extremely rare to find this piece in such good original condition. This was only Picasso’s third linocut and shows his dynamic enthusiasm for the material.
